So, now that we're a month or so into the 'interim' solution, do any of the JK parents have an update on how things are going over at Connaught? How is FDK working for you and your child? If you're partaking in the Board's before/after care, how is that going? If you're a parent with a split now (one child in each school) are things ok with the two schools?
Nicholas
ps. I'm not trying to stir debate about the ARC. It will evolve however it evolves... I'm more interested in how the kids and families are dealing with the current situation.

It's going well - the only drawback is the split drop off in the morning. We are dividing and conquering and that means we get both kids to school on time, but if one of us is travelling or unavailable then it is quite a scramble. The afternoon pickup is easier for us because the Extended Day care at Connaught goes to 6pm.
AJ is happy with her teachers and is bringing home new ideas daily. She is getting French instruction, which was a pleasant surprise. Staff seem nice. Each class is staffed with a teacher and ECE workers.
I haven't made it to any school council things, just because of timing of meetings.
