In case anyone is interested, here's the link to the motion that was passed at the Board meeting last week detailing the changes for the fall. There is a second vote at tonight's Board meeting which will make it official. I suspect it's a rubber stamp but until the vote is done you never know.

A rough synopsis:
- JK-4 EFI stream at Connaught year one making it dual stream English/EFI
- Elmdale's English program redirected to Hilson, Cambridge and Connaught in block
- some boundary changes (I won't name them all - most are minor (although I admit, perhaps not to those affected))
- a transition team be struck with principals, teachers, students, school council co-chairs, and sup't of instruction to look at a number of issues
- Connaught EFI program start up budget of $50,000
- Elmdale and Connaught reno's to be done over the summer
There are other changes that are quite substantive (funding for an Elmdale addition) but I'll leave that up to those that are interested to read. The above covers most of the substantial changes for Devonshire and Connaught.
The Near West Arc stuff starts on page 8 of the pdf. There is an interesting motion earlier in the pdf from Trustee Seward about getting staff to study an EFI seed stream at WE Gowling in case anyone is interested.
